• Account details such as your name, email, phone number, password, and chosen role (worker, employer, professional, merchant).
• Verification records (NIN, driver’s licence, passport, or regulator links) submitted to unlock hiring, consultation, or merchant tools.
• Employment and marketplace data including job posts, applications, consultation notes, merchant media uploads, plan selections, and reviews.
• Payment references (transaction IDs, billing contact, Paystack/Flutterwave tokens). We never store raw card numbers.
• Marketplace analytics events such as profile views, WhatsApp/Instagram clicks, browser type, and approximate location.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Verify your identity before you can post jobs, book consultations, or publish marketplace listings.
• Publish job ads, consultation profiles, merchant galleries, and manage the payments or refunds tied to them.
• Display aggregated analytics (views, WhatsApp taps, Instagram taps) to the merchant who owns that profile.
• Improve user experience, monitor fraud, and comply with NDPR/card-industry requirements.
• Send essential notifications about hires, consultations, marketplace plans, and policy updates. Marketing emails remain optional.

3. Data Protection

• All IDs, licences, and payout details are encrypted at rest and in transit.
• Only a restricted compliance team can view verification files; marketplace analytics are aggregated before display.
• We never sell personal information and retain data only while your account is active or for the statutory audit period.
• Merchant analytics can be reset or deleted once your campaign ends—simply email the privacy team.

4. Third-Party Services

We rely on vetted partners such as Paystack/Flutterwave (payments), AWS/Netlify (hosting), and Google Analytics 4 (event reporting). Each provider signs NDPR-compliant agreements and only receives the minimum data required to deliver their service.

5. User Rights

You have the right to:

• Access, correct, or export the information we hold about you.
• Request deletion of your account, verification documents, or marketplace analytics (subject to legal retention rules).
• Opt out of marketing communication while still receiving essential platform updates.

6. NDPR Compliance

Sirius Jobs adheres to the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR). We process data lawfully, keep detailed audit logs, and only transfer information outside Nigeria when equivalent protection is guaranteed.
